Chapbook Heroes vs. Superheroes

We learn about famous people of the past in history books and on documentary films, but do we understand that these people were considered heroes in their time? Today, we understand heroes as the animated characters in children's comic books, such as Superman, Wolverine or the Hulk.  They are brave and courageous, fight evil and have superpowers.  Those characteristics are similar to some historical figures, except for the "super" powers the comic book heroes have.

Explore further and learn how to bridge the gap between historic figures and superheroes, starting with a chapbook about William Wallace.
