Abstract
This is the story of Paul Jones, a Scot who turned pirate early in life and who raided along the coast of Great Britain. Accounts are given of many of his attacks, including a letter purportedly written by an officer who observed his attacks on the Firth of Forth. This tale is followed by an account of an English company who are captured, imprisoned, and are ravaged by illness due to their inhumane treatment in India.
