Abstract
A collection of songs and ballads on a variety of topics, including a song describing the heartbreak of love unreturned; a humorous ballad of a young man who swaps his mother for a bride; an abbreviated version of a popular tale in which a man, suspecting his wife to be in a compromising position, comes home unexpectedly to catch Will the Weaver hiding in his chimney and starts a fire to smoke him out; and the description of the beauty of a young woman and the lengths to which her love would go to protect her from any suffering.
